Most of the work was modernizing the legacy modules everything else depended on, and replacing hand-run deploys with Docker and GitHub Actions across several client environments that had each drifted their own way.
Moved a testing suite off Enzyme alongside the core team. Enzyme had stopped where React did not, so the migration was less a rename than a rewrite of what the tests were allowed to know.

Four years on the move from Magento 1 to Magento 2, a re-platform wearing an upgrade's clothes. WCAG 2.1 and WAI-ARIA went into every interface it touched, Jenkins pipelines carried the releases, and New Relic found the slow paths and the ones causing incidents. This is where the accessibility habit started.

I build the telephony layer for a video relay service in Elixir at Communication Service for the Deaf. When a hearing person and a deaf person talk through an interpreter, the call is the conversation. There's no falling back to text, no taking it offline. If the session drops, the sentence is gone.
That's why the stack matters. Elixir and OTP were built for phone switches by people who assumed things would break and decided the system should survive it anyway. Nine years of accessibility work before this, covering WCAG 2.1, WAI-ARIA and screen reader testing, turned out to be the same discipline pointed at a different layer: assume the path you designed for isn't the one being used.
Before Elixir my toolkit was React, TypeScript, Gatsby, PHP and AWS, and I still reach for them. This site is hand-written HTML, CSS and ES modules with no build step, because it didn't need one.
